Friday Night Funkin’ is a free and fun rhythm and music game, inspired by the 1990s arcade dance machines and Dance Dance Revolution. It’s a fan-favorite for its quirky, retro style and the ability to take on opponents in rhythmic music battles. They hit arrow keys in time with the music to drown out their competitors.

The game is by ninjamuffin99 with art from PhantomArcade3K and Evilsk8r; music by KawaiSprite. Though it came out in November 2020, Friday Night Funkin' hasn't faded into the background, with new updates and fan-made mods helping the game remain a focal point of the gaming community.
Now anyone can play the game, currently available on web browsers alongside an open-source under the Apache 2.0 license. Friday Night Funkin' is a fun rhythm game with passwords and powerups, pirates and use of the B-Boy visuals, and controls that are relatively easy.
